Happy Birthday Faith! Soldier Style!
HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY to Faith the Dog! Faith's REAL birthday is unknown but we gave her the date of December 22 to celebrate. We know she was born within a few days of that date and she is truly a "Christmas Miracle." This year Faith hopes to be celebrating her birthday for several days beginning this Friday through Sunday in Seattle, WA where she will be with more than 5000 soldiers in and out of uniform at two bases: McChord Air Force Base and Ft. Lewis Army Base just outside of Seattle/Tacoma. WOW -- lots of hugs, lots of kissing. Then Faith hopes to make it to Carswell Joint Reserve Base the following weekend! Nothing like camo colored icing on a big fat cake to make everyone happy! Thanks to Pat McGhee at Ft. Lewis for hosting us, and for all the personnel you send to us to pick us up, carry us around, put us up and love us constantly. This is the best part about our Armed Forces - - they love us! Thank a soldier when you see one, and pray for them all.

Happy Birthday Pretty Girl, Your still as beautiful as ever. God love you Faith.
Hi Jude, Its Kim in Michigan. Good to hear is doing well. I am so proud of
you and your family. Merry X'mas
I read the article on Faith and was very touched by her story. I have a black lab named Moose and he blew both his back knees when he was only 2 years old. He was so bad he could not hardly get up, he was unable to run and play like puppies should. We took him to have a very expensive surgery to fix the problem. It has been 2 years since that surgery and though it did not turn out the exact way we would have liked it to for him on medicine to control his limping and he is able to do all the things that he enjoys. There are a lot of people who would of thought he's just a dog. But all animals deserve a chance and are each a blessing in their own way. I hope things continue to go well for Faith in the future. I'm sure she's very grateful to you for finding her and taking the time to teach her to cope with her disabiltiy.

My dog Baylee, who I adopted as a pup, after my adopted Shephard,Lakota, passed, was thrown on the side of the road in Kentucky, she was found and brought to a kill shelter there. Patriot Lab in New Hampshire rescued her and when they told me about her, I adopted her. She was assumed to be born in December also. I gave her December 17th as her. birthday since my daughter,Marcy was due to born on that day, but was born on the 28th instead. God Bless you Faith, and Happy Happy, Healthy days ahead. Merry Christmas!
Love,
Sandy and Baylee
